Oh Yeah!

Zach and Jim have a special relationship and I love how it shows in these pictures! When Jim and I first started dating in 2016, Zach was only 7 years old and he started praying right away that Jim and I would get married. When we got engaged, all four kids were there and Zach started laughing and jumping up and down. He was so happy to have a daddy again.

As I said in the journaling, they play rough together. They're always wrestling and rough housing. Zach's super power is attacking from behind - just like these photos show. I always warn him to be careful what he starts . . . and he never listens to me.

Scrapbooking Tips:

I was not sure what to title this page. I love it when I can come up with a cute and catchy title, but somedays I have nothing come to mind. This was one of these occasions. Thankfully, I was using a teen boy themed paper collection from Simple Stories, and there was a large sticker than said, "Oh Yeah." It fit perfectly in the space I had for my title and it sounded like something Jim or Zach would say.

Confession time. I made two mistakes in my journaling. First, when I was drawing the black lines around my journaling strips, my pen slipped creating a wobbly line instead of a straight line and it looked horrible. I didn't really want to rewrite it, so I added three little dots to camouflage it. I liked the look so much I added random dots on every journaling strip.

Secondly, I usually only add the month and year to my layouts, but I found these photos in a stack of Caleb's birthday photos, so I know the date was February 7th. But when I wrote it, I'm so used to writing 2/7/07 for Caleb, I didn't put the right year on this layout. Of course, I had used some awesome score tape and I couldn't remove the journaling tip without damaging the layout.

I didn't have any white out, but I did have a white pen. I took that and traced over the 07. It did a decent job of covering it, and when the gel ink dried, I took my black marker and wrote in the right date.

If I hadn't pointed it out, you probably would have never noticed!
